This course will survey key developments in church history, from the early ecumenical councils and creeds to the Reformation and its transformative legacy, to the rise of evangelicalism and challenges posed by liberalism. Attention will be given to the historical contexts, theological debates, and enduring significance of these movements and events, all to understand how God has guided His church to proclaim the gospel faithfully in every generation.
